Return and Refund Policy

 

Overview:

We strive to provide a hassle-free and risk-free shopping experience to our customers. We offer a 5-day return or replacement policy on eligible products. This policy means that you have 5 days as soon as you receive your item to request a return or replacement, and if 5 days have passed including the date of delivery, we cannot offer you a refund or replacement. Please note that products eligible for replacement are not eligible for return and refund.

Note: Please be advised that the date of delivery is also included in the 5 days, so you have 4 days after getting your goods to request for a return or an exchange.

For Example: If you receive a product on 1st March regardless of the delivery time, the last date to request for return or replacement is 5th March till 11.59 PM.

 

5-Day Policy:

To initiate the return or replacement, the buyer needs to send us all required/specified photos or videos of the product within 5 days of delivery. It is also required for you to do an unboxing video while opening the package to make sure that product was not damaged due to courier company fault and we are able to easily fix it for you. If there is no proper unboxing video, your claim will be rejected. Our technical team will review the visual proofs sent by you, and after reviewing, a decision will be taken on your request. If you send a required photo or video specified by us after 5 days, we cannot offer you a refund or replacement. Please ensure that you provide all required information to initiate a return or replacement. We cannot process your request with partial or incomplete visual proofs or information.

 Note: Unboxing video is must for Return/Exchange.

 

Replacement:

We are happy to give you an exchange if you received damaged or defective items, if the package is lost in transit due to the carrier's error, if you receive the wrong item. To initiate a replacement, you can email us at support@sarakart.in Once your request for a replacement is approved by our technical team, someone from the courier partner's team will arrive at the address for a pickup within a few working days. Once the product is received our team of experts will review your product. If your claim is accurate, we will immediately ship a new product for you as a replacement. If there is a difference between the actual condition of the product and your claim, you will be eligible for a partial refund. Please note that replacements are approved only if there is a manufacturing defect or you received the product in a physically damaged condition as mentioned above. In such cases, you need to provide the unboxing video of the product. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Note: The products eligible for replacement are not eligible for return and refund. 

Return:

Please note that all the products listed on the website are not eligible for returns. Please check the respective product description or product details page to know about which product has a return policy or replacement policy. Products marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned. To be eligible for a return, your product must be in the original condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please be careful while selecting the variant. No return requests will be entertained for variant issues.

Exceptions/Non-returnable/Non-replaceable Products:

Products are not eligible for returns, refunds or replacements if they are:

  • Received by the customer in good/working condition, but the customer no longer wants it or it is not as expected/effective
  • Damaged or missing parts due to a customer's error
  • Received by the customer in good/working condition, but stopped working/performing after some days
  • Received by the customer in good/working condition, but damaged due to the customer's error or mishandling
  • Returned after 5 days of delivery
  • Sent as a replacement
  • Not delivered due to incorrect/illegible/incomplete address
  • Addressee's absence or the item is refused by the addressee
  • Marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page.

Including certain items but are not limited to:

  • Personalized or customized items: Products that have been personalized or customized according to a customer's specifications, such as monogrammed clothing or engraved jewelry, are typically non-returnable or non-replaceable.
  • Consumable items: Products that are consumed after use, such as food, medications, or cosmetics, are usually non-returnable for health and safety reasons.
  • Intimate items: Products that are worn in intimate areas, such as underwear or swimwear, are typically non-returnable for hygiene reasons.
  • Digital products: Digital products such as software, music, and e-books are often non-returnable once they have been downloaded or accessed.
  • Final sale items: Products that are marked as "final sale" or "clearance" are usually non-returnable or non-exchangeable.
  • Hazardous materials: Products that contain hazardous materials, such as chemicals, batteries, or explosives, are often non-returnable for safety reasons.

Refund:

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it may take some time for your bank or Credit Card Company to process the refund.

For Prepaid orders, it usually takes 5-7 working days for a refund to appear on your statement. In case of COD orders, we may ask for customer's bank account details or UPI ID such as PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm etc. Refund would be credited within 5-7 working days.

INVALID REASONS FOR RETURN AND REFUND

Buyer no longer wants the items - this is the most common example which we cannot honor if we want to continue offering great value to our customers. The buyer should make sure he or she wants to buy the items before submitting an order, not after. After an order is submitted, the buyer enters into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase all items in that order. The buyer should be confident that he or she is ready to pay the asking prices before submitting an order.
